Warning:

  • Close all the adb server is running in background (e.g.- PCC, SEUS, Flashtool and disable antivirus
  • Root your device at your own risk
  • First, read well and then follow instruction as it is.

    This Tutorial will help you to-
  • Root your device
  • Install Busybox (v1.18.4)
  • Install SU (ICS)
  • Perform some checks tmp directory for some free space
Pre Requirements

  • An Xperia Ray with stock firmware 4.1.A.0.562
  • ADB drivers installed for your device (if you don’t have drivers for your device download this  Flashtool Drives)
  • Download this Root Toolkit  Root Toolkit
  • Check for “USB DEBUGGING” – Enable from (Settings\Developer Options\Development)
  • Check for “UNKNOWN SOURCES” – Enable from (Settings\Security)
  • Change Screen time out for 10 min. [optional]
  • Connect USB Cable to Phone and then connect to Computer

Instructions:
Step 01 - Again check that you are on stock firmware 4.1.A.0.562
Step 02 – Download  Root Tool kit, save it on C:\ and Extract all the files
Step 03 – Now double click and run the “runme.bat”
Step 04 – Now you don’t have to do anything, sit well and read the on-screen instructions
Step 05 – Your Phone will reboot several time 
Step 06 – When the Rooting finish it will say “ALL DONE”

Now your device is rooted ! Enjoy !
