According to industry supply chain sources, Amazon is working hard to get its first smartphone one the market by the end of Q2 2013.
Digitimes reports Amazon has chosen a 4.7-inch display for the upcoming smartphone wearing its own brand, though the company was previously considering a slightly smaller 4.3-inch touchscreen.
No other details on the phone’s hardware were provided but given the fact that the Amazon smartphone is still a work in progress it’s hard to tell which specs sheet will be final.
According to the latest hearsay, Amazon’s smartphone will be priced at $100-$200 (€75- €150) outright.
We suspect more information on Amazon smartphone’s availability and specs will emerge in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
